Abstract

This editorial focuses on a Faculty Learning Community in Service Learning at Indiana State University. The learning community was a result from a partnership between The Center for Community Engagement and the Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence.

Author Biography

Catherine Stemmans Paterson, Indiana State University

Cat Stemmans Paterson, Ph. D. , has served on Indiana State University's faculty since 1998 and has been affiliated with the Center for Community Engagement since 2008. She serves as Editor of the Journal of Community Engagement and Higher Education. Dr. Paterson is a Professor in the Department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation. She earned her Ph. D. in 1998 at The University of Southern Mississippi, her M. Ed. degree in 1995 at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and her B. S. degree in 1994 at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
